An international book launch event was held at Amity University, Delhi NCR, signifying the strong cultural ties between India and Uzbekistan, in a spectacular celebration of artistic cooperation and cultural concord. The festival, which brought together leaders, artists, and cultural lovers, was a lively display of the rich heritage that both countries share.
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of an anthology by prominent Uzbek businesswoman Shokhida Yusupova, CEO of Shine Girl’s Academy, and ambassador for 30 international organizations. Her work demonstrates her dedication to empowerment and cross-cultural exchange. The importance of literary and creative contributions in promoting global friendships was highlighted at the book launch at Amity University.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Sardor Rustambaev, Consulate & Embassy – The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India, along with his delegation.
MG SocialCare Foundation played a significant role in the event, with its Director and esteemed Mentors. Their presence highlighted the foundation’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and goodwill. To mark the occasion, MG SocialCare Foundation presented special gifts to the Amity Pro-Vice Chancellor, Deans, and the ambassador as a token of appreciation and goodwill.
A significant moment of the event was the ambassador’s welcome with a traditional “Uttorio” (stole), meticulously handcrafted by rural artisans in West Bengal trained by the Foundation. This act demonstrated the foundation’s dedication to conserving and promoting India’s rich creative heritage while empowering underprivileged communities.
Smriti Bhatia, Director & COO, provided insight into the ways that the MG SocialCare Foundation is actively promoting livelihoods throughout India, with a focus on rural areas. Our mentor Prachi Gupta, meanwhile, highlighted the rich artistic traditions showcased during the event and the close cultural ties between India and Uzbekistan.
Among the cultural displays, Amity University was shown beautiful Madhubani paintings from rural Bihar that were made by rural communities trained by the MG SocialCare Foundation.
The international book launch was more than just an event; it was a celebration of unity, artistic expression, and shared heritage. It showcased how cultural collaborations can bridge nations, fostering deeper understanding and mutual respect
