How MG SocialCare Foundation administers Skill Training: Step by Step Process

MG SocialCare Foundation follows an extensive step by step process to make sure our beneficiaries receive the appropriate training. Working in stages, we identify and provide Skill Training so that participants can become self sufficient and financially independent.

How MG SocialCare Foundation administers Skill Training

    Identification

The first step is to research and identify to select target villages/communities that need development activities. We focus on rural and marginalised communities that will reap the highest benefit from the Skill Training process.

    Prioritization

Areas and communities that require development activities are prioritised according to a variety of factors. Need for development, the feasibility of administration of Skill Training workshops and respective follow ups, and communities that align with our vision are considered a higher priority than others. Resource allocation within the foundation also plays an important role.

    Site Visit

To understand the situation and requirements of the selected communities and their people, MG SocialCare conducts site visits to these areas. We focus on engaging with local people, village leaders, government officials, and pradhans to learn more about the challenges and opportunities in these identified locations to tailor the skill training process to their accessibility and needs.

    Introduction of MG SocialCare

We introduce MG SocialCare Foundation and our skill training and development programs to the stakeholders. We promote MG SocialCare’s services by holding community outreach activities and awareness campaigns. These activities help stakeholders understand the process and become comfortable with moving forward rather than approaching the concept of skill training as alien.

    Identification of beneficiaries

After introducing the concept of skill training and the surrounding processes and activities, we establish connections with local people and communities to learn about their requirements and interests. At this stage, we let the community know regarding the available options for skill development that are accessible in their specific location such that they can move forward with their self-development process. Interested individuals are identified as beneficiaries.

    Skill Assessment & Training

After we determine the areas and communities where training is most necessary and can have the biggest impact, we move forward with the evaluation of the talents and interests of enrolled persons. Our trainors can then provide tailored high-quality Skill Trainings to further develop the identified skills. These trainings can range from soap and candle making to pottery and other traditional handicrafts and many such products.

    Business Development Support

We help participants in marketing and selling their handmade products through online platforms, local markets, or other distribution channels by connecting them with sponsors and customers to establish a sturdy source of income. We also administer digital training in social media marketing and the use of highly popular platforms such as Whatsapp Business to boost sales. This aids the beneficiaries in becoming independent sellers and adapting to fast moving technological marketing tools.

    Sharing success stories

The accomplishments and success stories of those who have benefited from MG SocialCare’s initiatives are highlighted, showcasing how their lives have improved through skill development. These stories motivate and encourage other individuals to enrol in Skill Training activities and are one of the biggest factors in convincing communities that this concept is relevant and can be turned into a successful entrepreneurship venture with our help.
