MG SocialCare Foundation Shines at the Mompreneurs Event​

On 7th October 2024, MG SocialCare Foundation had the privilege of participating in the Mompreneurs Event, organized by the MOM Share Club at the House of Migo in Sector 143, Noida. Mom Share Club is a mom influencers and mompreneurs community,  created for  empowering connections and celebrating motherhood and embracing the strength of women entrepreneurs. This vibrant event brought together a dynamic group of bloggers, women entrepreneurs, and influencers from across the Delhi NCR region. Each attendee had the opportunity to introduce themselves and their business, fostering connections and collaborations in an empowering environment.

MG SocialCare: Showcasing Talent, Empowering Communities

At the event, MG SocialCare Foundation proudly set up a stall featuring an array of handmade treasures, all created by underprivileged communities who have been trained by our foundation. Our display included:

• Exquisite Madhubani Paintings: Traditional art that showcases the rich cultural heritage of India, meticulously crafted by women artisans from rural areas.
• Delicious Handmade Chocolates: Prepared with care and passion, these chocolates symbolize the journey of skill-building and self-reliance.
• Beautifully Crafted Candles: Elegant and artistic candles perfect for any occasion, made by Sarita Kumari, whom we have trained in candle-making techniques. The best part was that she was present at the event along with our mentor Smriti Bhatia.

These items not only represent the hard work and talent of these communities but also highlight the foundation’s ongoing efforts to empower individuals through skill development, providing them with opportunities to build sustainable livelihoods.

 A Celebration of Women’s Creativity and Entrepreneurship

The Mompreneurs Event was a true celebration of women’s creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and collaboration. Alongside MG SocialCare Foundation, other talented women entrepreneurs showcased a wide range of handmade items, including:

• Clay Items: Beautiful and unique pottery and clay art, each piece crafted with skill and imagination.
• Bohemian Arts: Artistic and free-spirited creations that reflect personal expression and culture.
• Homemade Spices: Flavorful and aromatic blends, adding a personal touch to every meal.
• Crocheted Goods and Jewelry: Handcrafted with love, these delicate pieces showcased the artisans’ attention to detail and passion.

The event offered a platform for all participants to engage, share their stories, and celebrate their achievements. It was a day filled with inspiration, as each woman brought her unique contribution to the table, demonstrating the power of collective growth and support.

Empowering Women, One Skill at a Time

At MG SocialCare Foundation, our mission is to uplift underprivileged people by offering them skills training in various crafts and trades. From traditional Madhubani painting to modern-day skills like candle-making and chocolate crafting, from batik art training to soap making, we focus on creating opportunities for these people to become financially independent. Participating in events like Mompreneurs allows us to share their creations with a larger audience while spreading awareness about the importance of women’s empowerment.
