A typical and successful method for working on various tasks and projects is the staged approach, sometimes known as working in stages. Keeping this strategy in mind, all our social care projects are divided into various stages or phases, each with specific goals and deliverables.
The intervention has been broadly divided into three phases:
Each phase has its own processes and components.
Here is a quick view on our stage-by-stage work process….

The first phase of intervention emphasises on preparing ground for the entire program. Under this phase, geographical location will be identified and analysed for feasibility of undertaking the initiative. Identification of demography is critical to develop the handicraft cluster with access to project beneficiaries. Subsequently, the domain of handicraft will also be finalised. A detailed interaction will be planned with proposed beneficiaries. Based on their interests, level of understanding, current level of skill and aspirations for the future, final set of beneficiaries will be identified and finalised.
Overall, implementation of first phase will set the tone for next phases of the intervention.

Each beneficiary comes from different learning background and style. It is important to equip them with required skills which is needed to create elegant products. Each beneficiary will undergo a specialised training on specific art form, latest designs, designing and developing the products using the art etc. A domain expert conducts the training and grooms the beneficiaries.
In addition to the domain training, beneficiaries will also be trained on digital and financial literacy. This training is required to prepare them for managing the money while doing the business. The trainees will also get a hands-on training on business planning and managing. This will help them in developing an understanding on how to run a business.

Post completion of training, the beneficiaries will be provided support for the next steps. Now, they are ready to sell their products, however, a mentor will be allocated to ensure quality of the end product. They will be encouraged and supported to set-up and register an enterprise to formalize the product selling. The beneficiaries will be aligned with the market to sell their products and buy items at cheaper rates.
MG SocialCare also supports these beneficiaries in marketing/selling their products in various e-commerce platforms, including mgcanvas.com
